The Sounds of Liepāja in Rundāle Palace. Concert “A ball through the centuries”

On July 30, Rundāle Palace will host the Festival “The Sounds of Liepāja at Rundāle Palace” organized by the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra – this year it will offer the audience four different events with a single themed motif “A ball at the Palace”.

At 20.00 in the Golden Hall of Rundāle Palace the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ainārs Rubiķis, will perform dance music of different eras written by such prominent composers as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Josef Strauss, Johann Sebastian Bach, Maurice Ravel, Béla Bartók, Mikhal Oginski, Emīls Dārziņš and others.
