Christian Lindberg is a stage person by more than one hundred percent: a brilliant trombonist, a vital conductor and a composer as well.
At the Stars Festival he will play solo in his own Trombone Concerto “Black Hawk Eagle” and will conduct two other masterpieces: Meczysław Weinberg's choleric, thrilling Trumpet Concerto and Jean Sibelius's famous Symphony No.2 – Finland's Manifesto of Independence.
Fearing no competition, another great master of modern brass music will take the stage at Weinberg's concert – trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov, well-known to Liepāja residents.
