The festival will conclude with a grand gala concert of opera music dedicated to Liepāja's 400th anniversary. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra and soloists will be joined by the State Academic Choir "Latvija" and Liepāja choirs, together experiencing an unforgettable encounter with the giants of world opera music.

Sara Cortolezzis is one of the brightest rising stars in Italian opera houses. The dazzling soprano has won numerous international competitions, including securing 1st place at the "Carlo Bergonzi" competition in 2022 and receiving the special "Renata Tebaldi" prize for the best female voice at the 58th Verdi International Singing Competition in Busseto.
Irakli Khakhidze is a Georgian tenor well known across Europe, currently performing primarily in German opera houses. As one of the most prominent Georgian opera singers, he was once a finalist for the Paris Opera Prize. In 2024, he portrayed Radamès in Verdi’s Aida at the Romanian National Opera and Turiddu in Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. In 2025, he is set to perform Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Gran Canaria. In this concert program, he will replace Latvian tenor Aleksandrs Antonenko, who is unable to perform due to unforeseen health circumstances.
Bogdan Baciu is a Romanian baritone whose rich voice and dramatic talent have earned him acclaim in opera houses across Europe. Two years ago, he made his debut at the Royal Opera House in London, performing the role of Marcello in Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème. Last season, he debuted in Düsseldorf as Amfortas in Richard Wagner’s masterpiece Parsifal. Baciu is a frequent guest in opera productions and concerts throughout Germany, France, Italy, Lithuania, and his native Romania.
