From Fauré's mysterious lyricism to Ibert's virtuosic brilliance and Bizet's youthful passion, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Guntis Kuzma, invites you to indulge in the masterpieces of these three French composers, which reflect the elegance, sophistication, and melodic poetry of symphonic music.
Gabriel Fauré's symphonic suite Pelléas et Mélisande will take you on a journey through mysterious romanticism, Jacques Ibert's Flute Concerto, with Egija Sproģe as the soloist, will dazzle with its playfulness and colourfulness, while Georges Bizet's Symphony, infused with youthful enthusiasm, will charm with its sparkling vitality.
