On 15 July, the festival will be opened by pianists Sergejs Osokins, Andrejs Osokins and Georgijs Osokins with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Guntis Kuzma.
The three Osokins are a trademark of the art of pianism – two sons and a father. Virtuosos of outstanding versatility, piano scholars and profound artists whose concert programmes are always a feast for piano music lovers. The Osokins’ joint concerts are an event with a deeply thought-out message, in which the most beautiful golden repertoire of piano music and classical music masterpieces are always played in original arrangements for two and even three pianos.
