Polish romanticism and Parisian charm will meet at the Festival
On February 13 at the Liepāja Concert Hall a sophisticated chamber music program will be offered at the festival by one of the most outstanding Polish ensembles – cellist Bartosz Koziak and pianist Krzysztof Książek.
Star Festival to open with world-renowned stars
The 34th Liepāja International Stars Festival will open with a symphonic music concert, in which the Orchestra, will perform together with Japanese violinist Yuki Hirano, as well as Belgian clarinetist Annelien van Wauwe.
The Orchestra among the nominees for the Great Music Award
The nominees for the 2025 Great Music Award and the recipients of the lifetime achievement award were announced at a press conference on January 14. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra was also among the nominees.
3 recordings nominated for the Golden Microphone
The nominees for the Latvian music recording award "Golden Microphone 2026" have just been announced at a ceremonial event. Three nominations also go to the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.
Zariņš will return to the Stars Festival with a solo concert
One of Latvia’s most brilliant pianists Reinis Zariņš will return to the Liepāja International Stars Festival with a deeply personal program - Rihards Dubra’s monumental piano work “Visions of the Way of the Cross. Light”.
