In Rundāle the orhcestra will perform with Lina Dabrauskaite
On Friday, December 15, at the Rundāle Palace the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will perform together with Lithuanian soprano Lina Dambrauskaite under the direction of Lithuanian conductor Modestas Barkauskas.
The Symphony No.5 by Andris Vecumnieks will be premiered
On 17 February, at the Concert Hall “Lielais dzintars”, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will perform Symphony No.5 “Sinfonia E” written by Professor Andris Vecumnieks with the composer himself at the conductor's desk.
Verdi's “Requiem” at the end of the Stars Festival
At the closing concert of the 32nd Liepāja International Star Festival on 23 March 2024 “Requiem” written by the Italian opera genius Giuseppe Verdi will be performed by an international ensemble of soloists and the Orchestra.
Symphonic New Year's Eve Concert is your ticket to sunny Spain
The Liepāja Symphonic New Year's Eve Concert at the end of 2023 will take you on a musical journey to sunny Spain. This year, three holiday concerts are going to be held in the “Lielais dzintars” Concert Hall on December 28, 29 and 30.

On December 2 at 6 p.m. in the "Great Amber" concert hall, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert together with the winner of the 16th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition.
Jāzeps Vitols PIANO COMPETITION. FINALS (Live Stream)
From 7 October to 14 October the Jāzeps Vītols VIII International Piano Competition is taking place in Latvia. The audience is invited to experience the final round of the competition in two different concerts on 13-14 October.
Aivis Greters returns at the orchestra conductor's desk
On 2 November the place at the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra conductor's desk again will be taken by Aivis Greters, who is currently experiencing a rapid development of his international conductor's career.
26 participants from14 countries - Vītols Piano Competition
From 7.- 14.10.2023. the Jāzeps Vītols VIII International Piano Competition will take place in Latvia, where 26 participants from 14 countries will compete. The audience is invited to attend the competition finals in Liepāja.
Jazz "Trio Elpo" will perform at the Stars Festival
At the Liepāja International Stars Festival, which will take place in the spring, on March 15 at 7 p.m., "Trio Elpo" will delight the audience with a jazz program in the Dzintars Jurgelaitis chamber hall of the "Lielais dzintars" concert hall.
The orchestra will collaborate with Elza Leimane
On 21 October the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will celebrate the centenary of the Liepāja Ballet, and the culmination of the celebration will be collaboration with the greatest Latvian ballet dancer Elza Leimane.

On September 16, at 6 p.m., the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra will open its 143rd concert season in the "Lielais dzintars" concert hall. The evening's special guest will be the Israeli prodigy, pianist Yoav Levanon.
In December the orchestra will perform in Rundāle Palace

From 21 September to 1 October the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will go on a concert tour of Latvia. The orchestra will travel to Jelgava, Auce, Limbaži, Madona and Daugavpils together with clarinettist Anna Gāgane.
Lukáš Vondráček at the opening of the 143rd season
On September 16 the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will open its 143rd concert season and under the leadership of the artistic director Guntis Kuzma will meet the Czech pianist Lukáš Vondráček.
The Stars Festival will be opened by Louis Lortie
Ticket sales for the 32nd Liepāja International Stars Festival concerts in 2024 have started, and the first artists to perform at the festival have been announced.
In August – South Kurzeme “Rimbenieks” Festival
From 4 August until 20 August the “Rimbenieks” Music Festival, which is being held for the third time already, will tour South Kurzeme with 10 different concerts.

In April, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra invites the audience to attend three inspiring concerts, where music written by Beethoven, Lācis, Clyne, Elgar, Brahms and Mahler will be played.
Jazz singer Ola Onabulé will close the Stars Festival
At the closing concert of the Liepāja International Stars Festival on March 11, the world-famous jazz and soul singer Ola Onabulé will perform on the stage of the Concert Hall "Lielais dzintars".

On 4 March two great masters of modern brass music will take the stage of the festival: trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov and trombonist Christian Lindberg.
The LSO and the Latvian Radio Big Band on one stage
At the closing concert of the Festival on 11 March the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra itself will meet on the same stage with the Latvian Radio Big Band in the symphony jazz programme.
Stations of the Cross by K.Lācis will be performed in Liepāja
On Maundy Thursday, on 6 April at 19:00 the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra in cooperation with the State Academic Choir “Latvija” and soprano Jolanta Strikaite-Lapiņa under the direction of the conductor Māris Sirmais will play the symphony “Stations of the Cross” by Kārlis Lācis.
